Top 3 Reasons to Plan Ahead of Time!

We’ve been working on several trips departing this New Year, and we cannot believe our clients are finally going to get to say “Bon Voyage”! Some of these trips, we started putting together in the beginning of 2019. Even though all trips do not need as much time to plan… we put together the TOP 3 reasons you should consider planning your trip in advance!
1. Quality
At TravelChic World, we do have last minute trips we prepare for clientele, but the quality is not the same. When we have more time to design a trip with you, we know it WILL be an extraordinary trip! Putting together a TravelChic itinerary involves various pieces we need to design a personalized trip styled just for you.
When we have time to plan:
• It gives us time to go over everything thoroughly.
• It is less stressful on everyone vs. planning a last-minute trip. Usually with last minute trips, things are more time sensitive, ie: paying right away for the hotel rooms, activities, and other needs you may have. You’ll have to make a decision quickly and may not always get what you want.
• You’ll always receive a full TravelChic experience package.
2. Cost
There are always last-minute deals you can buy on internet sites, but you still need to think about the logistics of those trips. How are you going to get there? Where are you going to stay? Is the area you’re staying in safe? All of these factors can lead to a more costly trip for a last- minute deal.
Planning in advance, you get to hold the prices on hotels, activities, excursions to keep them from increasing throughout the year. This would involve a deposit. But, this leaves you with peace of mind, you do not have to pay the high price once everything is almost sold out. Even with cruising, I tell my clients to put a deposit down on the room and itinerary they want AHEAD of time even if they are not sure they want that particular itinerary. That prevents them from spending more if the price increases, which for popular cruise itineraries, they certainly will.
3. Variety
When we work with our clients, planning in advance gives them much more variety to choose from. The world is literally your oyster. When we work with clients who have a lot of lead time prior to their trip, we can talk through different places they want to go. For instance, they might be thinking they want to go to a tropical, laid back, beach location. However, they watch something on TV about hiking through an ice cave in Iceland and that shoots to the top of their list. Of course, they cannot change locations throughout the itinerary process, but by planning ahead of time you might find the warm, sunny, beach location you thought you wanted to go, ends up being a colder, more activity filled trip.
